CHARCOAL POSE FIGURE
I used to draw with charcoal chalk before with my inspiration a pumpkin in A2 drawing paper. It was easy to manage the pressure and the area to shade because it's in big scale. At the same time, really scared to use charcoal as it make the drawing 'burnt' as there are no shading or value towards it. From my experience using this method, i went to the stationary store to buy a charcoal pencil so that i can point out the outline easily and careful from to ruin my drawing. I found out that the charcoal pencil have 3 different level, just like the carbon pencil. It have hard, medium and soft level. I do some research for this level while completing my drawing project and i have the knowledge how to use it and which level suit the best for the job. The 'hard' level, i used it for the outline drawing as the other charcoal can shade on it (it's like a candle on a watercolour painting). After that, there is the 'medium' level where i used it to shade the tone...
